Essential Hands-On Training for Success is the third and final course within the Essential Life Skills Training Program. In this course, participants will choose a subject that aligns with their life plan created in the previous course and gain hands-on training that will provide a certificate of completion at the end. Love Dove’s N.E.S.T. believes that aside from scheduled income sources, everyone should develop a skill that creates an additional income stream. Therefore, within this course, participants can choose from trades and side gig training such as credit repair, basic tax preparation, bookkeeping, CPR, food handlers certification, security training, home health aid, sewing, household, skin, and body care product training, video editing, photography, t-shirt printing, etc. By empowering youth with additional, legal ways to earn money, they are less likely to look for money-making activities that can lead to dangerous, illegal outcomes.
